Aggies Open Padre Island Invitational Tonight

The Aggies play a 1st round game in the Padre Island Invitational tonight when they host Jackson State at Reed Arena, tipoff is slated for 7:00.

The Tigers should not put up a huge challenge for the Aggies, but they were the pre-season pick to win the SWAC this year. JSU is led by Grant Maxey, the pre-season SWAC player of the year, one of 4 returning starters. In their opening game, the Tigers lost to LSU in Baton Rouge 79-65 last Saturday.

We'll be heading up again tonight and will have a quick note for you guys over the weekend.
