A quick look at the Oklahoma game
Hey guys, just a quick reminder that the good guys play Oklahoma in Norman today at 1:00 on ESPN (national).
A win today would go a long way in helping the Aggies shore up a NCAA tournament spot.
I would suspect that coming off of their big win over Tech on Wednesday that Turgeon's boys will come out pretty hungry. I think they will continue to press on trying to prove that they are a much better team than they showed in their three game in mid-February.
Oklahoma is coming into the game after getting beat rather soundly by Nebraska in Lincoln on Wednesday by a final score of 63-45.
Jeff Capel's Sooners are led by freshman forward Blake Griffin (15.3 points and 9.3 rebounds). Patrolling the paint is senior center Longar Longar (11.8 points and 5.4 rebounds), and the Sooner backcourt is led by sophomore guard Tony Crocker (11.4 points, 44% from three-point range).
